"PL-US BIO" solid biofuel certification program
The proprietary certification program of the Centre for Biomass Energy Research and Education, University of Silesia in Katowice designed for quality assessment of solid biomass fuels manufactured for energy generation in non-industrial settings in Poland. This is the first in the world quality assessment of biomass fuels combining currently used physicochemical testing with reflected light microscopy. Awarded "PL-US BIO" certificates
The wood pellet sample was taken from the production line and meets all the criteria outlined in the EN ISO 17225 standard and the proprietary program of the Center for Biomass Energy Research and Education.
